Just wanted to show off my new sunglasses. If you're following along, the $5NZD pair I bought in Paraparaumu Beach did not last long. I took this as a sign that I should maybe upgrade to something of higher quality, given the number of hours these will be on my head this month.
This pushed me into a Sunglass Hut on Lambton Quay in Wellington, exactly the kind of place whose doors I would never darken back home. Once the salesgirls realized they weren't going to be selling me any pricey designer shades they took me to their stash of cheaper frames. (yes, they do exist)
